Filter games by x86/x64/ARM builds

The idea is to filter games with build under ARM64 (AArch64) through API and website. Now it is possible to filter only by platform and in 99% of cases it means that games have x86 builds.

P.S. I'd like to use this filter to post my commercial ARM64 games for retro consoles like Powkiddy, Anbernic and others. And make a UI for downloading games on JELOS.

Are there no tags for those consoles? Tagging the chip is not in use. It could be. But if no one tags x86, why should they tag AArch64.

A popular (non retro) console is playdate. There are 700 games tagged with that

While platform is different from a tag, filtering for AArch64 is useless, if no one else uses this tag.

Maybe try to find out, what other developers use as a tag for such content. Maybe retro or 16 bit or something like that.

(Just wanted to clarify that I personally don't have any game projects like this yet. This is a suggestion in general for the future, as I know how much time it takes to implement any ideas).

I agree that a filter on AArch64 is not quite what is needed. A filter by tag does pick the right list of games. 🙌

For such devices, the "portmaster" tag (https://itch.io/games/tag-portmaster) is the right one at the moment. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

At the moment we don’t collect this classification data on game files, but we would like to in the future. So for now, there is no way to filter on this information unless those developers happen to be using a specific tag.
