I'm unable to talk to my captives. This is a problem because one of my captives has an aggressive personality and I'd like to turn her into a Babydoll

It turns out I'm not able to converse with captives that I captured. I can only speak to the new ones that I recruited peacefully.
I still can't turn her into a baby doll, is a method to the demeaning her 3 times aspect...I believe I've done it successfully over four times....but it isn't registering...
