What's the game like?

Currently, it's a simple vector art game with a simple mechanic: throwing the ball down the hoop. You can hold the ball in the green area and throw it with some speed, aiming for the hoop. It's playable on the web as an HTML game. If you're looking for more info, please click HERE to look at the project page, devlog and community posts.

What feedback are you looking for?

In short, any type of feedback is welcome. More specifically, the game has been played by some friends of mine, but that makes feedback sort of biased by my social environment. I'd like to receive mostly diverse feedback, with constructive criticism if possible, as if you were someone who found the game in the store and started playing it without anyone telling you how the game works or what it includes.

Topics you can use for feedback include, but are not limited to:

  • Gaming experience and how intuitive it is
  • Art style and aesthetics
  • Flaws, deal breakers and inconveniences
  • UI organization and customization availability
  • Where to improve and what areas to focus on
  • Overall impressions and if you would play it again

Again, any feedback would be very welcome, as this is my first published project. You can leave a reply here or in the project page. Thanks a bunch!

Hello there, here is my feedback:

  • Gaming experience and how intuitive it is: It took me a while until I realised that I can grab the ball only on the green area + it's pretty hard to throw it to the basket + it's very hard to do it multiple times in a row.
  • Art style and aesthetics: for this type of game it's just right.
  • Flaws, deal breakers and inconveniences: It's a bit difficult to play, try to tweak the sizes of the objects. It's very hard to throw it between the basket and the screen edge in the right angle.
  • UI organization and customization availability: UI is simple but understandable.
  • Where to improve and what areas to focus on: Difficulty and clarification that the round/match doesn't end with one throw.
  • Overall impressions and if you would play it again: It looks good, I would play it again if it was more possible to hit a score :)

If you find a minute or two, please look into my project as well! Thanks!
