What's the game like?

Currently, it's a simple vector art game with a simple mechanic: throwing the ball down the hoop. You can hold the ball in the green area and throw it with some speed, aiming for the hoop. It's playable on the web as an HTML game. If you're looking for more info, please click HERE to look at the project page, devlog and community posts.

What feedback are you looking for?

In short, any type of feedback is welcome. More specifically, the game has been played by some friends of mine, but that makes feedback sort of biased by my social environment. I'd like to receive mostly diverse feedback, with constructive criticism if possible, as if you were someone who found the game in the store and started playing it without anyone telling you how the game works or what it includes.

Topics you can use for feedback include, but are not limited to:

  • Gaming experience and how intuitive it is
  • Art style and aesthetics
  • Flaws, deal breakers and inconveniences
  • UI organization and customization availability
  • Where to improve and what areas to focus on
  • Overall impressions and if you would play it again

Again, any feedback would be very welcome, as this is my first published project. You can leave a reply here or in the project page. Thanks a bunch!

Starting the game

To start the game, simply tap the screen once the game's loaded without any menu open. Once you do that, the ball will be thrown up. Then, simply tap and hold the screen where the ball is. To throw the ball, let go of the screen after giving some speed to the ball.

NOTE: You can only hold the ball in the green interaction area!

Scoring points

To score points, simply make the ball go down the hoop. The counter will tell you when you've scored a point, and you get a star for each 4 points you score.

NOTE: You can only throw the ball to the sides to make it go down the hoop in order to score points. No throwing the ball from under the hoop to make it go down afterwards!

If you have any questions or suggestions on game mechanics, tweaks or changes, please leave a reply!

Hi there! I have recently faced an issue which prevented me from making my game page public. My game is a Godot 4 HTML export embedded to the itch page, currently private. I would like to make my game's page public for information on how to get in contact with me (the developer) and information about the game's development state, since it's far from finished. However, in doing so, the embedded game gets accessible as well. Preferably, I would like to have the page accessible to the public, however, the embedded game would be restricted by a download key (distributed to testers). I have already looked into the docs and other forum posts, however the only choices I would have would be to make the HTML downloadable, to create another page for game testing or to provide other download files, none of which I would be thoroughly satisfied with.

Therefore, would there be any way to make the embedded game only accessible to people with a private download key or any similar solution? Thank you for your attention!
