Dungeon Softlock

The game softlocks when you reach the stairs to move to a lower floor and combat occurs on that space. It'll first show combat and then load the next floor which results in not being able to move around the floor, access menus or finish the combat. This doesn't occur on stairs leading up a floor since the text options get overlaid on the combat.

What is your movement's setting, and is the game running at 60 fps?

Movement setting is at instantaneous. When I posted this, the game definitely wasn't running at 60 FPS. I've since started the Outskirts and changed the settings to have that run smoothly. The game now runs closer to 60 FPS and I didn't encounter any combat on stair spaces when repeatedly going up and down floors, even with monster lure active. I only tested the floor change about 15 times, but if it's just a processing speed issue I'll keep resolution low for the dungeon.

Being an issue with FPS is my suspect since I never had that occuring to me despite the multiple playthroughs and tests, however, I do plan on fixing the issue. Thanks for letting me know!

This also happens when you go to the Restzone and you encounter a Monster.

I used a Monster Lure and now im softlocked

i just encountered this going to the 9th floor from 8th, which is a shame cause i didn’t quick save yet (judging from previous post and music id say the fight happens after entering the stairs) might be best to designate the stairs area (and safe areas) as a no monster spawn area

Edit: the automatic quick save is a life saver good job there didn’t notice that before
