MAC 404 ERROR. Is there a way to make it work?

Sorry to bother, english is not my first language so i apologize if i sound tacky. I'm very layman with programming and all that surrounds it, so, for me, it's a very vast new place full of knowledge and things that i've never seen or thought before, but at the same time i feel very lost and, in all honesty, very dumb. Nevertheless, it's an area that picked my interested, and your content has been nothing but delightful. Even though i cannot comprehend more than a half of it, hundredrabbits nourishes my creative soul, makes me a wish to understand more about the programming world.

But i digress, all this intro is just to say that this field its very difficult for me (at least, for now). On the Hundredrabbits site has an easy link to download an emulator to make the roms work.

The Windows link, in my experience, worked just fine. The computer, however, is not mine, i only own a Macbook. For that reason, i want to install the Uxn programs on my MacOS. Problem is, the link goes to "404 Page not found", and, believe me, i tried every other way on my capability to install it, but my lack of knowledge is the one to blame.

In summary, is there a reason on to why the link doesn't work? Is there a way to install it still? And, if it's not inconvenient, I accept tutorials! I'll give my all to understand them if someone has that kindness.

Anyway, hope this message reaches someone! Have a good day/afternoon/night!

Hi Shayja,

Unfortunately we cannot bring the link back up just yet, Apple is making it very difficult to distribute software for when we don't have access to Apple devices. For the time being, the only way to get the Uxn emulator running on OS X, is to build it from the source files, which means cloning or downloading the repository on sourcehut and writing .build.sh

Are you on irc or discord? maybe we can help you through that process :) Let us know!

Hello! Thank you for your answer! Apple closed source sure makes things more difficult, but no problem, i will try to do it from scratch then!

I am on discord and will be glad to join, thank you for offering! Hope I can make it work. If it does, I will post a little tutorial here, just to aid those who had the same questions/problems.  :)
