I wanna make this post to go over what a journey this has been. A couple years back at this point, I was watching Joel play this game, which is how I came to discover it.  Having watched it, I enjoyed it, but I didn't think that much of it, other than it being a goofy simulator with aliens in it.  Fast forward to maybe a month ago at this point, I decided to make an Itch account and get some free games to occupy some time -- this game being one of them. I did not, however, play this game until a few weeks later. (I'm bad with time, so it could've been over the span of 2 months, and I finally played it sometime last month.)

I was incredibly wrong about the impressions I got from what I watched. Finally playing the game, I was immediately hooked. I started cleaning up my base, doing daily tasks, upgrading my tech and all of that stuff. I've always been a fan of simulators, but this game has been so much more than that somehow. It's a simulator, it's a horror game, it's silly, it's spooky. The game was unique; it was unlike any simulator I've played before. It could be comfy and spooky at the same time, and I just fell in love with it. Obviously, I got into the update before 0.7.0, but having gotten through the game before, 0.7.0 made things fresh again, and I dived right back in to experience what was new.

Within the span of around 2 weeks, I have put almost 100 hours into the game, and still find myself coming back. You'd think it would get old after a while, but I've been enjoying it so much, I keep coming back for more. It really has been a unique, enjoyable experience, and it's incredibly surprising that the dev puts this out there for free. As much as I know, it isn't easy making games, and all of their hard works comes to us for free, and that's insane to me, especially nowadays, when games feel like such a gamble on whether they're good or not.

Sorry for this long wall of a post, but sometimes, heart goes into the effort, and people tend to forget that sometimes. Not me, though. If I saw something like this as a dev, it would make my day, so hopefully, I can make someone else that happy, too. So, thank you for this game. I will continue to play, as I have, and will eagerly await to see where it goes in the future. Further, thank you anyone willing to read all of this -- I'm sure most might not think all of this is necessary, but I wanted this to be a friendly post, and pass my time by expressing my appreciation for this game, as it has given me so much so far.

Ye this game is pretty large for an alpha. It's a solid game play loop with some great atmosphere .

It really is a great atmosphere for the game, and the gameplay loop keeps me coming back. I can only imagine what the full release will be like.
