I'm not sure how much of a known issue it is or if I'm reporting to the right place. But I'll tell you anyway.

When you complete the Fishkind Research quest, you will find yourself in the Fertility Temple. After you get out of there, you need to go to the "Temple of Thorns". In my case, I was enslaved for contextually irrelevant reasons before I ended up in the Temple of Thorns. With receiving the slave mark accordingly. With this mark it is not possible to enter the "Temple of Thorns" location and save Elise. You are not allowed into this location because Slaves are not allowed. However, this is not correct in this context, since according to the plot you enter there secretly. Thus, Elise cannot be saved, and the slave mark cannot be removed either.

Mechanically, Elise is alive, but not accessible. As far as I know, there is no other way to remove the slave mark. It's hard for me to imagine that this is a fair situation, so I had to resort to cheats.

If the situation is interesting: I was enslaved by Deepone in the Fertility Temple location and stayed there for some time. My Lona got out half-dead and got caught by a Fishmen patrol. I didn't know that it would be enough for me to simply show my documents and tried to escape. The result is predictable.

(Edited)Moderation takes a long time, so I’ll edit the message:

https://mega.nz/file/lz1WzC6I#byy8JBR3EoGJrjZ88NZf_ZdUvyqWEXMB1Qi0TqKjBA0

There is no save left on the main progress. I reproduced the complete situation, correct for the context. Used the "Cheats Mod" to provide yourself with food and potions. Saved time. I'm sure it couldn't "spoil" the situation.

Version: 0.8.9.2.1

(Sorry for the Russian language)

When trying to enter the temple, a dialogue occurs where Lona was discovered as a "Slave". You can leave or load into the “Road” Location, where Lona is attacked.

Having escaped from the guards, you return to the starting station.

I have edited the main post. I don't understand how moderation works here.

you are branded so you can not enter the place theres a lot of places like this litterally a case of soft bad end load older save but i will forward the thread to eccma as a possible UX issue maybe add a sneak in option?

Of course, you can’t get there because of the slave stigma. This in itself is not a problem, except that you will lose access to Eliza, who in this particular case is inside this location. I had over 5 hours of slave carousel with Dipon and the Fishmen before I realized the problem. I literally didn't know for a very long time that I had mechanically lost an important NPC and the opportunity to get rid of the slave stigma. But the context of what was happening did not give me the slightest hint. That's why I created this post. I don't know how best to fix this. I don't know the game architecture. Just wanted to let you know that without fully understanding the game at this point, you could mess up your save and not even realize it.

It may be difficult for you to understand me. I have to use Google Translate. Sorry.

i knew what you meant its a user experience issue in that theres a check for entering during the quest since if i recall during the quest you sneak into the temple to begin with if i recall

where is the softlock? just leave the island, power up, and come back.

Eliza is located inside a quest area that is inaccessible due to the slave brand. And the only NPC who can remove it is inside this zone. I had already returned to the main island and stayed there for some time. Now I couldn’t go back to Fishtopia. Online research has shown that the stigma of slavery cannot be eliminated. I had to use cheats so that I can continue rescuing Eliza. If there is an opportunity in the game to remove or hide the slave brand in another legal way, and not just through Eliza, then please forgive me and tell me how.

Oh ok... thats concerning, i will tell the dev in discord about it.

I don't mind that the Slave Brand can't be removed because Elice is dead or something. Because this is really my problem. But the game does not allow secret entry into the temple for salvation, where the narrative implies covert entry.  But this became clear after many hours and the saves before the fakap were lost.
