Check if it's still in appdata>local>votv>saved>savegames
If it is, it's either corrupt, or a game file is corrupt. First try going to the game tab in settings, and clicking the regenerate button beside,"regenerate data.sav," then restart you game and check for the save. If this doesn't work, redownload the zipped game, delete the game folder (NOT the folder in appdata, that contains your custom stuff, settings, and saves, just the folder containing everything from the extract), and extract a new copy of the game. If this new copy still can't detect your save, something broke in the actual save unfortunately and it is corrupt in some way. I recommend making a new backup every time you finish playing in the future, I've seen some other people with similar but thankfully rare corruptions.
