The game worked at first, but when i changed the resolution it crashed. Now, no matter how many times I re-download the demo it turns on a black screen (task manager says the game is not responding).

Try going to C:\Users\"your name"\AppData\Local and delete the FracturedMind folder there. See if that fixes it.
