Ghost's Identity?

As anyone with way too much free time on my hands I did some digging around the game, all the easter eggs, the character interactions, and I found something that struck me as "off" about Lauren. She never appears in any of the maps, and when playing as her, I noticed that her grabs consist of Japan and Seatbelt, all in the exact same spots as Ghost. This already struck me as odd, because Ghost is the only character whose top-right grab is Japan.  I then went to check Ghost's location in warehouse, only to find her missing. This only became weirder when speaking to ERQ, it seems that not even she recognizes who Lauren is, despite having unique dialogue for every single character. I wanted to dig a little deeper, and then it hit me on the character select screen. Ghost and Lauren have nearly identical stats; only that Ghost runs slightly faster. And she does the naruto run as she does so. I checked Pacific Avenue and Test Map, and sure enough; Ghost does not appear when playing as Lauren. She doesn't appear in the maps when Lauren is selected for free skate. Not in Warehouse, and not in Pacific Avenue, even in the Test Remix if you select Lauren, Ghost doesn't appear. Did I look way too deep into this, or am I on a breakthrough while waiting for the lore of story mode?

Yeah, and Lester has an evil twin brotther.

On Pacific Avenue, Heather mentions that Lauren is holding back her power level. She isn't there if you play as Lauren though.

I've wondered about that as well, and you make a compelling case! One other detail is that Lauren has a very small tail (being a Lynx), which could be easily hidden in the sweater that Ghost wears.  If this is true, it'd be quite interesting to think that Lauren is a skater double-agent of sorts.
