It's Pre-Alpha, not even Alpha. It's about a year away, if not more. The game has a huge potential, and probably with the next updates the game will be transformed even more, if the author does not abandon the game. Support him on patreon to keep him motivated.
Echoing what @Bobidjoni said, it’ll take quite some time. I hope that EternityDev takes their time with the project, because this is something special that should be given proper time to be created and nurtured. It’s already amazing in 0.7.0, so I hope that the new versions are just as good, even if they’re minor.
