I recently posted a free Solo journaling RPG!
In Celebrity Rat Trap, you use a 6 sided die to create your own washed-up D-list celebrity, and the 11 other once-famous housemates you'll be competing against on this reality competition. Each "episode" a housemate is eliminated, and the final winner walks away with 500,000 dollars and 30 seconds of rekindled fame. Throughout your time on the show, you will record your highs and lows in the confession booth while struggling with challenges, housemate squabbles, and your own self doubts.
The tone of Celebrity Rat Trap is both comedic and tragic, and explores themes of cynicism, tabloid scandals, the pursuit of fame and validation from feeling known.
The game takes approximately an hour to complete start to finish, and is designed to feel narratively satisfying and immersive regardless of whether you ultimately win or lose. (Hopefully!)
You can try it out for free over here!
Celebrity Rat Trap's system is partially inspired by the One-Page table system developed by M. Kirin for "One Page Left".
