Immediate death with no warning is frustrating

I tried your game here on the itch.io page.  I found it frustrating that there are rooms on the grid that, when I entered, would immediately collapse, killing me under the rubble.  It isn't that I mind environmental hazards, but there is nothing at all (that I could see or hear, at least) that indicated to me that a room might be unsafe.  It feels "not fair," in a rogue-like/NetHack sense.

I do love the graphics.  I'll check back on the game soon.

Are you following the directions given to you on the computer? Because when you wander outside of the directions (which indicate safe rooms) there's a chance it could be an unstable room.

Incidentally, there is a tell, but it's very subtle.

No, I wasn't following the directions.  Entirely my own fault, I didn't even realize the arrow glyphs were the directions to get through the maze. I'm going to blame attempting the game before I had my morning coffee.

I tried it properly now, and succeeded in getting all three things.  Thanks for helping, I was clearly being dense.

No worries! This is the hazard of trying to make text-light games haha
