BEFORE ANYTHING, as always, I would like to thank ALL the support received as always, without a doubt, thank you all very much for all the support received these last months. Without further ado, let’s get started.
After a long time of waiting, the biggest update of UNDERTALE: The Souls Incident PLUS. After being very busy these last months, finally, in just 2 weeks I have been able to fix many aspects of the game, both visual and gameplay, as well as fixing MANY BUGS.

Changes to the main menu:
The maximum FPS of the game menu has been increased, going from 30FPS to 60FPS maximum. (REMINDER: In-game menu only) Improved options list (now more optimized) Now when you select an option in the main menu it lights up yellow Now in the extras menu you can select to play the original version of the game (This version is the original and has not been modified) Now in the extras menu you can select to play the summer version of the game (This version is the original and has not been modified) The main menu has now been animated so that the camera now follows the movement of the mouse The main menu has now been animated so that there is now an animation of items when entering the menu A list of drop-down options was added to report bugs, access the itch.io community, to follow us, etc. Added a background effect that can be disabled in the settings Now, the version being played and the detected operating system are located in the same place, the OS appears first and then the version. The fight was MUCH improved visually. Changed the original epilepsy message Added a small visual effect where the camera follows the player’s soul during battle Added a small shader that increases the contrast a little making this fight more epic Added a small red border effect during the fight Fixed a bug related to fire particles Minimally changed the texture of fire particles Fixed a bug related to the appearance of trollge heads during the intro If the player died after watching the intro, they will not have to watch it again, making the fight faster. Small details added / Bug Fixes:
New options were added in the Settings section A section was added to see the game controls with keyboard and controller The player’s HP bar is now a REAL life bar (previously it was two weird, poorly made PNGs) Now the red heart/soul has a small black border around it (does not affect the hitbox) Now when you press the “Escape” key you will return to the menu directly During the first phase, the background was changed Now, during the attack on Trollge, there will be various camera effects. Depending on the intensity of the attack, the camera will shake more or less MANY BUGS fixed Removed all blue soul related attacks. The blue soul was discarded due to the major technical problems it has. Mini details were added for Christmas, Halloween, Madness Combat Day, April 5, January 6 and August 26. Added a little easter egg, so to speak, in case the player goes outside the box. Fixed a gallery bug. Fixed a bug related to the “Retry” screen, now the game does not crash or pause for no reason. Added a small destruction animation of the “Mercy” button during the start of the fight in phase 1 Some things that will be added in the future (Maybe)
The fight is now playable, that is, it is fair and totally passable, before it had an exaggerated and impossible difficulty. The music menu has been radically improved as it now moves with the beat of the music, plus it is easier to use Trollge’s HP bar (they are two strange and poorly made PNGs) Fix the gameplay of the blue soul or remove said fragment due to how poorly made it is. Before, to finish, I would like to talk about the Android port. I know most of you are waiting for the Android port of the game, but after the release of this update (which undoubtedly speeds up the process of creating this port by eliminating several bugs) I would like to take a break about the development of this game. I feel like I’m stuck in the same project and I would like to rest my mind and think about mechanics, projects or things to do in the future, that’s why after the release of this update, I would like to take at least 2 weeks of vacation and after that, release the Android port.
Once this port is released, the development of the game will be slowed down a lot and it will go into a maintenance phase…
