Crossing Over

A visual novel about death, fishing, and vore. · By Bad Manners

Played through the whole game, ended up walking around my room and reflecting on life.

Seriously, this game really made me think deep in life because holy shit, Bard feels relatable to me and Marco is just unnervingly comforting to me? Like… I, I really have no words else left to say but I had to take an one hour break reflecting if what I’ve done was worth it or not.

I was smiling through most of the game, but when Marco tested bard (or smth) I felt the same way as bard somehow, I felt like I was in the f$%king air for a second, my fear of height somehow kicked in and I just fucking started skipping the diologue so it would end quickly (because I didn't like the feeling) so when bard was actually eaten, I actually didn't feel the same fear of heights, how the actual hell did this game reduce my fear of heights?

That’s unexpected! It wasn’t intentional on my part, but I can definitely see how you’d feel like you’re in the same situation as Bard - and I’m happy that it had a positive (albeit unexpected) outcome too!

I don't really know, some things are weird in this world, like how if you travel far enough in the universe, it'll just be nothing, if you are fast enough to go faster than the expanding galaxy

It’s definitely a lot to take in, with heavy themes and strong emotions. Basically a lot of what I was thinking and feeling at the time. And I wanted to say it all unfiltered, because I know others might relate to it even if it’s different from the message I find in other media. In a way, to tell people that I and others know what it’s like to be in a tough spot, even when it feels like the world doesn’t understand them. I hoped to convey a positive message in the end, of self-discovery and growth, but I guess that depends on each person’s experiences! There’s no wrong way to interpret it.
