Both my name and my free projects are not showing up when searching them

what matters to me more is that my name isn't showing when searching it because i think if my name starts showing so will my games (hopefully ).

I know many people had this problem before but I tried everything but nothing works, so here's what I did:

- I searched my account in google but only found 1 game and not my account ( game link: https://kuruttakao.itch.io/this-game-is-99-finished)

-I made sure my account was public in the privacy settings

- My games used to be "0$ or donate" but I changed them to "no payment"

-I have 7 games published for which I made sure to follow all the instructions to get them indexed in this link (https://itch.io/docs/creators/getting-indexed)

- my games have been published for at least 2 weeks so even if the games had payment they would have been indexed by now (todays is 6/23/2024)

- I sent an email to support 13 days ago, received a number for my request on the same day but nothing changed, so I sent another email 2 days ago with no answer

- on few of the question I've seen a link to the game was required so here is link to my account and a link to one of my games :

  https://kuruttakao.itch.io/

https://kuruttakao.itch.io/apeirophobia

also my account is very old and i have 4 games with money in my library.

Thanks for taking your time & reading my question, I hope I this helps me and other people with the same issue.

About your name in search: The latest update to the search backend removed showing accounts in the search results. So this is simply something that is currently no longer available.

About your games: It currently (for a long time by now) takes considerably longer for games to get indexed. I do not remember the specific time frame suggested to wait right now, but it should (or rather can) be more than two weeks. You can open a topic like this, writing that you have followed the instructions, so it can get looked up accordingly. If it is still in the usual time frame however, you will probably be asked to be patient.

Getting indexed is more of a question about it being your first (paid) project, I believe. But even this may only be one of multiple conditions. In general, your project either gets indexed or has to get approval, which then simply is a matter of time. Contacting support is also an option, but they may still take their time to handle all of the requests.

The account searching now shows games from that account by display name. But not the account itself.

So if I search op's name, I find 6 of 7 games.

Yes, I did the same and the game missing was actually posted on the account a friend of mine and then he added me as admin in it since we created it together. It's weird how it's not showing though...

The game is indexed. You have not been added the same way for Rootopia as you have been added for This Game is 99% Finished. Look in the more info box under authors.

Your games might have been placed back in the review queue following the recent changes. Make sure you publish each project page only when it's ready. Please see the rules of this category for what to do if support takes too long to reply.

Thanks everyone  my games are now visible!!
