I am using a dialogue system with super text mesh pro.  However, the text is completely unreadable I don't know why. The screenshot below is what happens when I use super text mesh

I have sent a couple of emails for help but no reply

I am using STM Sketchfiy script

Hey!

I think this may be a bug that I've fixed but haven't published the patch for. I fixed it just before I went on a trip so I wasn't able to push it just yet...

I'm assuming this is the Ultra shader being used with Unity UI... if that's the case, please go into the file for the Ultra shader and delete the shadow pass entirely. It's the final pass on the shader, and the extra "ZWrite" call should be deleted, too. Sorry I'm not just sending the updated script, but I can't until I'm back next week.

Otherwise, try tweaking the parameters on the sketchify script? I'll be able to give this a closer look soon!

Where do I find the ultra shader file?

That would be within Assets > Clavian > SuperTextMesh> Shaders > STMultra.shader by default, I believe. I'm just doing this by memory so I may be wrong...

By the way, this is assuming you're using the ultra shader to begin with... the same error may actually be on the universal shader too, so the shadow passes there can be removed as well. Those are within the "Universal" subfolder within the Shaders folder. Really sorry I can't just send a build at the moment, so I hope this helps!

I will wait for the update because nothing has changed thanks

I'm back home now!

Send me an email with the address on my website, and I can send you the updated shader to replace
