Hello. I created an SMB folder on my imac. I can connect to the folder through my laptop and my iphone, but every time i try with Heresphere, i get: "Failed to authenticate connection. Please verify user and password. Guest accounts are not supported due to security concerns. Please create a user account if necessary" . Can you please help? It's able to identify the local hostname, but every time i try to connect with it, i get that error message. I've tried creating another user account to see if that works but that didn't either. I tried typing my SMB folder name and also leaving the "SMB Share name and Path" empty with my user name and password and that didn't work either.  I'm at a lost as to what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hmmm, not sure, it works when testing my Mac. You could try different streaming methods other than SMB. The latest version of HereSphere supports DLNA, so you could install plex media server (or any other DLNA streaming app) and access your videos through their DLNA service. Or you could setup XBVR to stream videos.
