this developer is one of the slowest i have ever seen, i did the math and it would take 16 "yes thats right" SIXTEEN YEARS to make it to 1.0 and idk about you guys but im not waiting 16 years to finish house chores.

fix up dev u got the money to be faster than this

EDIT:

a very nice man has told me that there will only be 3 more updates and then the game is finished.

so these calculations are out of date

Dudes, if you only understood a little about game development... The author must come up with a plot, draw art, come up with dialogues, draw locations, write code, test the game, port it to Android and Windows and a lot more, so don't talk bullshit, you obviously never did this and probably didn’t even pay the author for his work

(+2)(-3)

i dont pay lazy workers.

you dont understand that:

there already is a plot

there is aldready a art style

cmon man? dialogues? that takes an hour.

locations exist

code might be tuff but it should never take 2 months

and testing could also take around an hour.

im not familliar with porting but im guessing that it shouldnt take a month either.

and dont get me started about the art. its not consistent at all so dont tell me that he takes a long time on art.

your right but also wrong, it takes so long because its a small team yeah i know but also dumb cuz they have more games than just house chores and they work: house chores then on another games for like 3 months and then go back for house chores for a update and thats like every time..

they arent lazy, theyre just packed with many games and dont have the team or time for every game sadly

The dev has 2 other games in development and a list on each game page of people that also need to get paid for work they put into the game. Besides all that, it's free, Why anyone would complain about a game that's free and gets free updates is beyond me.

(+1)(-3)

free is good but u didnt even talk about it taking 16 years to finish

(+1)(-1)

I am now positive this is a troll post

(-3)

it's free just because nobody would buy it in the first place, people buy his patreon and he makes ~60k+ anually off just this game, it can't be that hard to make a 3-4 scene update monthly, besides, he's probably not working alone, use your brain y'all

I agree that development has been rather slow lately. Since the start of the year it has been around 2 months for each update. Version 0.18 had one new scene really. Version 0.19 is set to release at some point in August (that's over 2 months since 0.18) and will include one new scene with Linda (however, it's going to be a scene similar to the holiday special, so there's arguably a lot more programming and artwork necessary for that scene).

@Monke4Life: I don't quite follow how you come up with 16 years. Siren has stated on their Patreon page that there are going to be about 4 more updates to this game before it's finished. I suspect that will include getting Emily into the group activities and maybe a final scene with all 3 of them. Siren has stated they're most likely planning to continue the story in another game.

well i just did simple maths, basically this project started around 4 years ago and its at around 0.20 so if i just added 4 years for every 0.20 then it would take 16 years to finish the project, honestly it was kind of a joke obvisouly it isnt gonna take that long but im starting to worry it might still take a while at this rate *2 months per update*. if you want me to i can do actual calculations and post them here later.

im so sorry i just now realized that u said there would be 3 more updates, still very confusing since all the update so far has been 0.18-0.19-0.20 and idk why they would just jump like that unless they know that its either gonna take too long to finish or they are too lazy

its clear you don't understand game development. the builds aren't percentages, they're just numbers counting until all the content siren wants in the game is implemented. this is common practice.

it's clear that you don't know how to read

lol

i can explain it clearer if you need me to
