Trying to use the font on a Motorola Moto 5G

I have the font downloaded into my Barnes & Noble Nook app, and it's helped me so much there, but when I open any of the files it tries to download them into my fitness tracker app and a workout import. And when I go to my settings for display, it doesn't show me anything but the 4 default fonts the phone came with. Is anyone else having this issue? Or perhaps has the same phone and has been able to set it as their phone font?

Instructions on Android vary greatly across devices and versions, and it’s difficult to test or provide instructions for it.

Many apps that support additional fonts will let you select OpenDyslexic as a custom font from their settings.

For globally changing your font, there’s apps like iFont that have been successful for people in the past.
