Questions/Suggestion

I have read the changelog but I haven't actually checked the engine out yet. I'm glad someone picked up EFPSE, it has a lot of potential as a fun game engine.

Does the engine now support 3D gun models and animations--or is it still just sprites?

I would like to see an option for billboarded sprites as weapons instead of just sprites sequences, like the effect you see in Delver or One More Dungeon, this would be in order to assist the less artistically inclined (like myself) ...

Delver: youtube.com/watch?v=YJWDcRGP1iE
One More Dungeon: youtube.com/watch?v=mvhX608sfwY

I'd imagine you could get by with a shoot and lower animation, a swing animation, and a poke animation.

Just a thought.

Thank you.

ADDENDUM:
Is there a way to alter the player's maximum health for the game?

Is it possible to make hub levels? Like one level can lead to other levels, and then exit back to the hub level?

Have you tried to read manual before asking all this?

"I have read the changelog but I haven't actually checked the engine out yet."

Bad idea.

Based on your incredibly helpful reply (thank you for your assistance, btw). EFPSE still only uses sprite frames and not 3d models for the weapons. It is not possible to create level hubs or increase health maximums.

EPFSE can use 3D models for everything. It's possible to create level hubs and increase health maximums. Hope you're happy now.

I see. I will be able to check it out this weekend and see more details.

I'm guessing these can be accomplished with scripting. Is there a wiki page for the scripting functions?

Thank you for your help!

Ma-nu-al. I mentioned it before. Or this:

So yes, there is a wiki for the scripting functions. Thank you.
