Hi,

Unfortunately, the games segfaults a few seconds after i click start on linux.

My specs:

Do I need an actual GPU?

Runs, but the terrain doesn't load. I'm able to drive around on it, but don't see the surface or snow. Background/worldbox geometry is visible, as are the various objects. No errors reported on launch.

Latest version now runs for me on Arch Linux but has the same issues with background and world geometry.

Radiator flew a bit too far from the elevator center and I am unable to recover it, because trying to pick it up triggers the button to lower the elevator

The elevator does not detect the item and the hovering text is now stuck on it even if you move away

I had the same problem, except the name didn't get stuck

When going down hill towards the Gear Station, all my cargo suddenly exploded out of the basket (due to colliding with each other?) and getting my right tread stuck under the ground and always turned on (not that it gave any traction despite being on), leaving me unable to move save for rotating left or right.

The IIIrd Newtonian Rule is working too much  between items inside storage cabin causing them to phase through it's walls spilling outside on snow. Also metal sheets have a tendency to bug inside of an elevator, which cannot be picked up.

Items will shift through the storage walls.

This seems to happen at all upgrade stages of the carriage box on the tank. This is easiest to reproduce with Springs. They will fall on the ground when the tank is moving if there are other items in the back. When a Metal Sheet falls on the Spring it will phase through your storage box onto the ground. Can happen if there are only Springs in the back aswell. Metal Sheets will also phase through the box; I had 4 Sheets in the back and they were not nicely arranged and they flew off when moving on flat ground. Placing them flat on the bottom made this not happen.
Aside from these two items doing this while simply moving, most non-cubic items will do this on impact. Whenever I drive over an item on the ground the tank crashes and items try to fly away (which is normal) but some manage to escape from the sides, not from the top opening.

I can do more testing if required.

Items can fall through terrain into the abyss.

I was doing a mission and collided with an item on the ground which in turn made all items in my storage cabin explode out. Pressing R for to activate the scanner showed the name of an item in a place I could not reach.
Another time I let go of an item on the elevator after recently pressing R and the item tumbled off the elevator platform and istead of it stopping on the snow I witnessed it phase through the terrain and it's name going down below (it kept going down forever).

Maybe a hitbox rework is needed>?

Visual bug where the tank keeps lagging behind the movement. The camera follows this mini step-back and it can induce dizziness when scrolled in closely to the tank. This is less obvious when scrolled far away.

Can provide video evidence later if necessary.

The tank movement is a bit strange when there are heavy things in storage. This things can push tank in side when it turns, especially on slopes.

When using Linux ver, no terrain textures.
So I downloaded the windows version and used Steam Proton to run the game from there which is just something to note for my experience going forward as well I am using the pre-weather update.

The nut item after getting all upgrades would just fall out of my storage while moving.
Treads appear underneath the metal bridge over the gap (visible in video trailer too).
Hitting scan just before using the elevator makes the green item text stay on screen in the menu.
Going from City to Gear settlement some items would spawn on the outside mountain area and early game is possible to get up and out then after going down, it is not possible to get back up to the play-field leads to a soft lock and requires resetting the game( as a suggestion to make re-spawning/resetting in game thematic you could write it as "pull thermal core" from the pause menu).


I'm running Windows 10 on AMD CPU and GPU. The game runs mostly smooth, and without problems, except some times the screen goes black. More so if I try to tap to other programs.

Springs, nuts, and bolts sometimes fall through the terrain when you drive over them or put other items on top of them

Can definitely second nuts specifically falling out of storage and out of the world, no matter the upgrade level. Seems to be associated with small FPS drops when they do.

Also running Windows 11, game isn't capturing my mouse even when full screened, leading to audio cutting out if I don't look down a bunch after leaving a settlement. I've got an AMD CPU and GPU in case that matters

happened to me with oil barrels at high speed, Metal sheets, and  one time the I-Beam i tried to pick it up while it was along the side of my tank tracks and it disappeared. I don't even think it fell through the world- just straight up disappeared.

The tank arm can't reach into the inside corner of  the junk station without jumping into the ceiling. It's pretty annoying i lost 3  delivery items down there.

My guess is that this is because the arm position is tied to a projection of where the camera camera is looking, but that the projection might be coming from above the camera instead. might've been going too close to the ground before so you guys made a creative call? idk.

Wheels clipping into ground.
Was driving from Junk settlement to City settlement (in background) when my track wheels clipped into the ground. this caused me to get stuck, and all my cargo fell out.
