I was derping around with a vm software called Parallels and it was running windows games great! When i tried Lona I kept being told dll routine failed so I continued derping around for solutions. Normal compatibility mode didn't work and I wasn't sure if hopping around with other software meant for Windows games on Mac was going to help that much either... so I kept tweaking things to see if anything would work. I found something that finally launched the game and it seems to be running fine and fortunately the solution is really simple.

So here's what I did... after you download the game and uncompress it in the Windows instance launched in Parallels, in the file right click on game.exe and click properties... you may be in the... General tab... click on the Compatibility tab to the right of it... Now near the bottom it should say... Windows on ARM. Ya found your golden goose baka! Take a moment of silence to appreciate this moment. Look out into the vast expanse beyond your window to the miracle that is the light blue or starry night sky, pretend you touched some grass even though you may not have left your room in weeks except to restock on snacks and take care of hygienic needs...  Well anyway fellow Mac enjoyers, with the solemn state of catharsis aside... under Windows on Arm click on the Change emulation settings button... You are going to tick 2 boxes now... First check... Use advanced settings this unlocks some check boxes that were previously grayed out below it... now just check Disable hybrid execution mode (x86 apps only) and press OK to finalize and you are ready to start living your best life with Apple Silicon. Checking the "Disable hybrid execution mode (x86 apps only)" is really all it takes to get it up and running.

Much love and with good intentions... I hope this helps someone out. - Mr.Sin

my brother you are true hero on this world i spend a lot of fucking time of this shit if I could be where you are, I would go to you and hug you tightly

I hope the game will get native support for mac

That's never happening.

The game engine is over a decade old and only supports windows as well as the fact that mac isn't even the same architecture it was when the engine came out and the devs of rpgmaker are notoriously lazy when it comes to supporting things outside of the bare minimum .

As far as like support as in optimizations are concerned there is a script in the game to detect what OS you are on but at the moment theres no preloaded optimizations utilizing the script at best we have unique cache settings for each system but they would have to be loaded manually at this moment.

now imagine not having parallel and trying to make it work T-T
