I personally think the first one is not like from a native english writer.

Meanwhile, the second one seems not simple enough to read: I mean it contains some uncommon words.

Yeah ngl there are some interesting word choices and/or sentence structures in the first one. However the flow is better comparing to the second one. IMO the second one is just kind of hard to read, despite its fancy vocab.
