The Future!

For full transparency, I wanted to talk about what the future of this project potentially looks like. I've been unsuccessful in gaining any interest for this project before posting here, and it's been a really long time in the making. I worry I've waited too long to start marketing it. I've been working on it for around four years now, and have put in around three thousand hours into building it from scratch. I've redrawn every character three times, and plan a few more redraws. I learned a lot from this thing, gotten better at drawing too (if you can believe that). HOWEVER! The game is currently on a trial period to see if it can gain some interest. As much as I love this game and the characters, and I believe it will be an AMAZING game at its full potential, it's just so much work and time. Episode 2 will absolutely be released, because I'm excited for it, but it's unlikely to bring in the amount of interest I need for this project to be successful. But I will try my best to get some interest!

I appreciate you reading this and I hope you enjoyed at least something with the game. Hopefully more content will be released after Episode 2 (which is coming along nicely), but if not, it's been an excellent learning experience. As parasocial as it might sound, its been fun spending time with these (albeit fictional) characters, and it's been a nice exercise overall. This game exists outside the bounds of what I normally work with, and it's helped me a lot. I still can't draw hands though, dayum.

At full release, the game has twenty two characters, each character having three levels each. Each level should average around one thousand unique lines of dialogue, so that's about sixty six thousand lines of unique dialogue that need to be written. I also want to add a few new special stores and scenarios, such as Allies Terrifying Tales and Mindi's Therapy. The phone also has a few more planned apps, like EmojiBlast, where you can send emojis back and forth between characters, and RareDrop, where you can buy ultra rare and expensive items.

Again, thank you for your interest and for taking the time to read all of this.
