As the title says, any born character is permanently crying. Their first level after working for a bit always has the option to remove it. Is this intentional?

Upon further investigation, all children are born with only 3 Mind. Putting them in combat until they regain some Mind or giving them a mind brew shall remove the status. I am a dumbass, please disregard. (the same thing happens if you torture too much and don't give them Mind back).   

So on that note, more ways to regain Mind out of combat? Maybe some head pats or cheek pets?
