Some of my own thoughts

I like the new changes that are implemented! With things taking slower means that it's easier to get to the tf you want! Unfortunately, with more floors that gets bigger, it feels like getting the latter enemies is even more inaccessible as not only can it be difficult to find the stairs occasionally, but it feels like there's even more kobolds and cats before I can get to the snakes and wolves. It could just me a me problem, but it does feel difficult to get down to later floors. Also, the fact that snakes doesn't turn hostile when you attack them when not hostile makes it difficult to bump up the priority for snake changes.

Hey thanks for the feedback. Length issues might become a bit of a problem as the game continues on and i don't exactly have a good solution. But I've noted it and hopefully will end up with a better solution. I do have plans to make searching for stairs easier (mostly adding multiple exits) But this is the type of problem that unless directly addressed it'll come up again.

As for snakes i forgot to make them friendly towards themselves so this will be fixed.

You're welcome! I like the game btw, do like a slower pace to the transformation, though I think there could be more texts for different stages at each limbs.(just a personal preference of mine, so don't let that influence any decisions of your own)

But I do agree, the progression is going to be a bit touch and go. Just means I have to get good enough to get past floors 10-11. May I suggest something like a spell that tells you roughly where the stairs is and how far relative to you? Probably make it pricy to discourage spamming. Also, the map might need a bit of a touch up. At least a distinction between walls and unexplored tiles. Also depending on how the map expands part of it aren't displayable. If any of those issues are already brought up then my apologies for bringing it up.

I have no idea what the blue spaces on the map represent though. Seems like nothing to me.

Other than that, I'd be happy to provide some ideas of my own, like more texts for different stages of the transformation, as well as any potential mechanical changes because of that.

Thanks again, Techannly speaking any ideas you do bring to my attention will influence my own ideas. But either way I'm a bit more interested in adding more enemies than adding more expansive stage text. Though it might be something i'll add more of.

No worries, even if an issue is already known about (which this one wasn't) it still would like to know about it. And that's a decent idea having a spell that can point the way. The walls will take a bit of time. Mainly because i don't know how to do that so i need to research that. But i'll look into that.

The blue spaces on the map should indicate where the stairs are. But a pun a bit of investigation i noticed one tile holes in the ground appear as translucent spaces on the map. which if the ground happened to be blue there it would lead to an problem.

But either way i'm always open to new ideas. in fact if you want to talk more regularly on my plans and stuff. i have a discord server for that reason.(https://discord.gg/ZtYemMvxps) But if you don't want to, Itch.io works fine. Or if you want to talk to me specifically like for writing content You can also dm me on there as well.

Sounds fair enough. Certainly something to think about when things are fleshed out more. But yeah, for that spell mostly indicate in which cardinal direction the stairs are(North, northwest, west. etc) and a vague indication on how far like "It's somewhat close" or "it's pretty far".

I'll check it out. I might or might not stick around, but certainly something to check out.
