Thank you for playing Anna, It was meant to be a running joke that the two journalists where never doing any work, always drinking and smoking, but due to time restraints it didn't get written that way.  If you ask about the id in the newsroom, he does tell you that he left it in the bar and in the bar he tells you it's on the table so they were set up slightly different.  There are a few bugs, here and there, when collecting the id, but it is playable to the end.
