Are the devs died or something? I haven't heard a thing about this game in almost a full year! I don't care about when the next update is . I just want to know are they still working or have they abandon the game?
I mean they are working on this as a labor of love, and they aren't taking money for it (and to my knowledge I believe they never plan to take money for it)

I am sure they are still working on it, but these things take time, especially if you want it to be done well (and I am sure it will be done expertly!)

The issue is they so rarely share news about progress that I was growing concerned about the game was abandoned . Or something bad happened to them. It been almost a full year since last update about the game progress, not a game update. That it was a clean sign of abandonment. It was concerning. They are so quiet about development, it scary.
My situation is as follows. I love this VN, and I want more chapters as soon as possible, but I know that if I upset the developers, it could negatively affect the incredible quality of their work, so whenever I remember, I open the site looking for updates . Practically once a month, and I log into the forum every time I receive an update notification. I have to not get too anxious, busying myself with other aspects of life, and other stories too. As long as I'm alive I'll be waiting, Asterion is worth it.
Not my point all I'm asking is once in a while that they report on how thing are going, like every three months. it could be just a short message to reassure us that they are well. And Asterion is worth it. I don't mean to be negative in any way and I did wait a long time before making this topic. My worry is not with merit considering the a mount of time has pasted. Overall I'm happy everything is well.
Again I get where you're coming from ... but ultimately they owe you nothing ... you haven't payrolled this VN, or contributed Art, Music, Dialogue, Edits, you haven't done anything besides take part in experiencing it.
I'm sure the DevTeam is glad you're passionate about the VN, that's awesome! But just because you are enjoying the VN doesn't mean you are owed anything...
If they don't want to send out an update right now, so be it. You just need to accept that and wait patiently like everyone else, and doing anything besides that could risk antagonizing the Devs to the point that they may not way to continue updating the VN...
Again I do understand where you are coming from, but ultimately you just need to be patient, quiet, and support the Devs in any way you can. :)
y'all just chill. it is bad form when a project goes half a year without new info. a lot of similar projects just drop off dead without saying anything. minotaur hotel, however, has always been long between updates, plus it's not fundable, even for people who wanted to support it. now, please, don't antagonize eachother. the boss already said they are working on something.
