Mac showing message 'app is damaged' when opening the app

Hi,

When opening the app on Mac Os I get a message:

“PNGTube-Remix” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin."

I know I can override Mac security settings and force to open but is this expected? Is it safe to open?

Thanks

Hi, the app is completely safe, yes. Its source code is linked too if you ever wanted to check it out. The reason this happens is simply since the software isn't signed (I don't own a Mac and signing costs a lot of money). You might actually have  this issue with PNGTuber-Plus and Gazo-Tuber too.
Its solution should be simple tho. Solution if you still faced some issues. Feel free to tell me and I will try getting in contact with a Mac user to see how to fix it! ^^

Thank you so much for your reply, that's totally understandable! I tried the solution from the video and it worked! I love how clean the UI is :) I can't get the mic to work though, the app doesn't pic up sound, and when I go into system preferences and microphone permission on Mac, it doesn't show up on the list there. Do you know if there is a solution for this? Thank you so much
