No, downloads for web games simply mean someone is playing them in the Itch app.

No, actually, web games played through the app get reported as downloads, not plays. That's just it.

You realize making false accusations is literally illegal, right? I'm telling you how itch.io works. Our admins have explained it repeatedly. Just search the forum. Your games are web-based. They're indexed, so people can find them in searches. The pages are public. So maybe listen to people who've been around for literally ten years.

Yes, playable in the browser. For the third time, the Itch app downloads browser games to cache them, so they show up as downloads in analytics. It's a well-known quirk that's not documented and confuses a lot of people at first, but has been mentioned countless times in the forum.

But no, I'm a community moderator. I'm not sure if that information is available even to admins. And I'm replying to your posts. In a topic you started. Publicly. In the main community forum. That's not "stalking".
