0.8.1b Base/Main Computer Frame Drop

Hello,

Is there someone that can help me?

My game version is 0.8.1b. My game runs smoothly at 120 anywhere but when I'm viewing my base or when I'm in my base. It's at its worst when I'm at the main computer/signal area. This has been going on for the entire game, and when I looked this up I thought this was normal due to a ton of others having the same problem, but it's become pretty unbearable now. At first it was just 60 fps for the first in-game week, then after playing for a few hours during the rest of the game, it's dropped all the way down to 15 fps. The only way to make it a *little* better is to restart the game, and even then its still at 30 fps.

The frame drop is resolved once I turn shadows completely off, which really sucks. I have tried every setting set to low with shadows set to 1, and still the problem persists.

My settings are below.

Thanks.

The computer panel has a seperate FPS slider in the options, default for it is 40 FPS, even if you already set the game to 120 FPS.

And currently the base lights cost a lot of FPS, this will probably be optimized in a later update.

Makes sense.

It's not the computer that is lagging, though, its overall fps. Changing the computer FPS to 120 doesn't help.

Unfortunately I believe it is due to the base lights, I bought just two extra to light the area in front. Turning them off drastically improves FPS.
