Complex, but fun!

Was super hype to try out this game as a diehard fan of the original Psycard. I almost immediately bounced off because of the sheer complexity of it, but I gave it another shot a few days later and got hooked. After a few "testing" runs where I messed around with equipment and stats to figure out how to play, I gave it a serious go with Ittle as I figured ignoring magic and going all in on normal fighting stats would help me get the basics down. Two failed runs later, I managed to beat the final boss and hit the win screen while out to lunch with my girlfriend. Felt great.

My only two wishes for the game: music (even if it was just re-used from elsewhere), and a maybe a little trophy on the character select to show who we've beaten the game with.

Thanks for a great game! My next goal is a win with Sam (dark mage.)

Developer

Yeah, that is definitely the games biggest flaw... I should explain more stuff in game but that's my least favorite part of dev... And there's so much to explain in this one lol.

There should be a little star in the top right corner on the class select screen if you beat the game with them. If there's not, then I have some bugs to hunt!

I gotta learn to make decent ok-ish music at some point...

New dream feature, though it would be a lot of work probably. A database or list of some sort of all the meld combos in the game on the main menu. Only shows you combos you've done before, the rest could just say ???+???. It would be nice because there's a lot of items to combine in this game and it's hard to remember all of them and which levels they need. Plus filling it out would be a fun little side goal and encourage some experimentation, which is always fun to me.

Also yeah there's a little star on Ittle now, I must've just missed it before somehow!
