I've been looking and looking and can't seem to find anything... what area should I look in? I don't want the specific spot of the location, just what area the key is in so I know where to look.

OH! that makes sense lol. I've been looking for a key to open the door to the inside, when there's just some other way somewhere.
I got through the first gate with slime form, the one that can be seen on the map, but can't get any further. It just tells me the door is locked when I try to open it, and that the key is underwater. Unless I'm at the totally wrong location.
Oh right I am sorry I am so stupid.
Absolutely my fault, there is a key for that door, it is buyable in the underwater town. If you werent there yet, you migzt find some clue of how to get there in the eastern plains if you have the needed abilities already.

The only key I could find was the magic key, and it didn't open the door. I'll keep looking. But there doesn't seem to be another key to buy there.
