Does the starting class determines what items you start with and all that?

Well I would like a change with the POV of the moth.  You kinda don't see all if my guess is right because of the fluff.

For what i found out is that the species you start as has just different card set based on the type they are. The preset is what your character starts with and how your dungeon will begin as, like if you go Lustspell Witch you start with a lust weapon and has their dungeon already a prison setup.
