the window .zip version is saying i dont have the required vulcan graphics, im wondering if the other versions or the legacy versions dont require the one windows.zip needs

As far as I can remember, Predation is rendered through Vulkan, and unfortunately, a number of older GPUs don't support Vulkan. I'm sure Tib can correct me if I'm wrong (the techy side escapes me a bit, when we get into the matter of actual hardware!), but the best thing I could recommend is to play around with the older versions to see if there was one that does support your GPU. 
It can definitely be frustrating when working with things like this, so I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
