We are working as fast as we can to provide the next full update. It has taken some time, I will readily admit, which is why we're working harder on it, so it doesn't feel like we've just added one or two cool things. There have been entire redesigns, updated engines, revamped AI for the enemies, and new animations for many new character interactions.

A delayed game is eventually good. A rushed game is forever bad.

Heya!
We really do apologize and appreciate that you, and many others, have been patiently waiting for the biiiiig update! We're still putting the finishing touches on everything, and once that's done, we're gonna lift it all up, and toss it your way! It might be on fire, it might have a speaker inside of it that plays the Hamster Dance! But, either way, we will get this next update out ASAP!

It's a good bit more complicated than just copy/pasting game files onto a completely different platform, and as I mentioned, it would take a lot more work to maintain two completely different platform versions of Predation.

It would take quite a lot of work in order to port the game to an Android engine, and after that, we'd have to juggle both the PC and Android versions of the game, which just... wouldn't work out, from a coding standpoint. There are no current plans for an Android port.

If you mean the feral dog, refer to this post that was made, and then pinned near the top of the page, by Tib: https://itch.io/t/1822531/for-those-who-are-looking-for-the-two-missing-animatio...

The long and short of it is, we had to play nice with Patreon, due to a change in their ToS where they became much more strict about the content that was allowed to be provided. It is a shame to have to scrap a fully fleshed out enemy, of course - but if we kept the feral dog in, front and center, we would likely be hit hard by Patreon, and lose that income.

Yep, as previously stated, the train is not currently running! ...well, not running with people able to be in it. It's a huge problem - we're working on remotely stopping the train in the middle of the tracks, to haul it back to the station.

That's definitely odd! You're sure you're running the latest build?

I haven't seen anyone else have an issue like this. It usually just works through drag and drop for everyone else. If at all possible, could you delete the files for Predation, and then do a reinstall?

I'm sorry to say, I don't believe it will ever be possible for us to port Predation to Android. It would require another massive rebuild and optimization, and even if that does happen, there's no guarantee it will work right. We would likely have to juggle both versions at the same time, and that would take away from the development of the game, itself. :(

Aww, I really appreciate the kind words!!! We're working really hard to make something everyone can enjoy.
There's still some work to be done, but I'm confident we'll get it out with a bit more time, and it'll be looking better than ever!

I'll pass the suggestion to Sephra, that's for sure! Though, the animations are all hand-made, with a lot more frames to them than people realize. If it will be added, it'll take a good bit of time for it to look proper! ...we really strive for proper, haha.

So, the other main controls are E, Z, X, and C. Shift is, of course, a Sprint toggle, and Spacebar can also jump.
E is used as the Interact button. Z, X, and C are combat moves.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, could you explain it? :O I'd love to try and help you!

I'm sorry, I don't have that information. I wish I knew an exact date I could tell you, but the best I can do is share that, given the progress made thus far, it's not too far off. I know it isn't easy to wait for something like this, but it's all I can really ask. ;w;

Hi! Yes, there most definitely is a Discord! If you can't find it around here, just follow this one. :)

As soon as I get word in from Sephra and Tib that the update is ready to release, I'll let you know. ;w;

In most cases, the builds are first released to Patrons, who have early access. Then, shortly after, everyone gets to enjoy it! ^w^ While I'm not 100% sure on when Sephra and Tib will feel like this is perfect for release, I know it will certainly happen soon!

Heya! Thank you for checking in! The bug hunt is going well, and we are seeing a good bit of feedback on things we can fix up, areas we can improve in, and things like that! We're getting really excited to ship this version out in full, that's for sure!

I will try my best to get in touch with you, once it releases for everyone!
As for the "surrender" feature, a masturbation mechanic for Amber was planned, years ago, but we weren't entirely sure how to implement something so risky, in a game where practically any sexual contact spreads the infection. If something about that has changed, I'll be sure to let you know! ^w^

In most cases, Patreon subscribers do get early access to the builds. Presently, it's in a final bug testing phase. It's no bother at all, though!
As soon as Tib and Sephra are satisfied that they've got the worst of the bugs out, it'll be released. ^w^

Hello, and thank you for your question!
On our Discord, we revealed that our deadline for the next release is on June 10th! We hope you like what we've got in store for you! <3

Fighting mechanics in a platforming beat-'em-up makes Predation - which has been in development for a good several years - into a 2D version of a very specific game that released not even two years ago?

Hello, Reaper, and thanks for your question!
Currently, I'm unaware of an exact release date for our next update. However, as soon as we're satisfied with the amount of content we have ready to be pushed out, we'll let everyone know! As always, Patrons will get it earlier than people who aren't pledged to us, but it will 100% be free to access, within a bit of time after that!

Ahh, yep, that'll do it. We aren't currently able to support integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 4600), unfortunately. A fix could be found, but we haven't stumbled upon it yet.

Hello, and thank you for coming to us with this question!
Before we can really troubleshoot, would you be able to give us the specs of your computer? CPU, GPU, operating system, memory, things like that. One of the most important details, though, is the GPU you're using. We'll need to know the exact make and model of it.

Hello, and thank you for your question!
I've been looking for a while, and honestly, it's a bit... shaky, on whether or not a 32 bit Predation is available or not, but I'm going to err on the side of caution by warning you that it likely isn't possible. However, you are more than welcome to try, and report your results to us!

Hello, and thank you for bringing up this comment!
In the current build, with all of the current improvements, we were only able to include the first two sections - the entrance and platform - into the build to get it out in time and show off the improvements. The upcoming build will have much more to it, and we look forward to seeing how everyone likes it!

We appreciate the kind words!

I'm sure we can talk about keeping a link to the previous version handy. But we do have text in one of the first loading screens that explains that only the first two main areas are in the new build, while we work on adding everything else.

Thank you for playing - and supporting! - Predation's continued growth! <3
