Fight with friends and acquaintances using tanks you created. Customize every element of the game the way you want. And have fun. T.A.N.K (Tank arcade networks killer) is a multiplayer arcade game where players can customize almost every aspect of the game map, tanks, and the match as a whole.
Planned in the finished product:
- 8 hulls, turrets, guns and 4 different tank tracks - all with their own parameters and special effects, so you can create your own tank.
- 3 maps with customizable size and terrain.
- 4 game modes: Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Collecting artifacts and Base Capture.
- Game modifiers that change the usual gameplay.
- Customizable AI, so you can play alone or increase the scale of battles.
- Player statistics and levels that determine progression.
Already done:
- 8 hulls, turrets, guns and 4 different tank tracks - the appearance and a small part of the parameters and special effects are ready.

- The appearance of 3 maps.
- 3 game modes: Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch and Base Capture.

- AI with difficulty settings.

- Player stats and levels without progression.

Hello everyone. I want to tell you about what has happened in T.A.N.K during this time.
1. Map settings have appeared in the game. Now you can choose the biome and size of the map you want to play on.
2. Obstacles have appeared on the maps and the ability to place them in certain places.
3. Decorative stones and branches randomly appear on the maps.
4. Now all players in the lobby can see the map they will play on.
5. The flamethrower no longer deals damage through obstacles.

Hello everyone. Since the last post, I've been doing a massive optimization of the game. There's no new content, but the game has become faster and its size has decreased a bit.
I've made a plan for adding content for the near future:
1. Creating a UI with match results.
2. Completing the creation of special effects for tank parts and balancing tank parts. The ability to independently select parts to create your own tank.
3. Adding new game modes.
4. Adding sounds and music.

Hello everyone. I have completed the first point of the plan for adding content for the near future. And along with it, I added a few more new things.
It was necessary to create a UI with the match results, but it seemed to me that this was not enough. Therefore, a countdown was added to the start of the match and to the end of the match, an announcement of overtime and, of course, a table with the match results.

I also changed the mechanics of the appearance of traces from tank tracks. Thanks to this, bots began to leave traces and players see all traces equally.
And now you will be highlighted in any lists of players.

Hello everyone. I have completed the second point of the plan for adding content for the near future.
I have reworked all the characteristics of tank parts. Health and damage have changed especially much. Also, instead of simply increasing or decreasing speed, turrets and tracks now have a new characteristic - a speed multiplier. Now the tank speed is the hull speed multiplied by the speed multiplier. Also, all the features of the parts have been reworked and new ones have appeared.
But that's not all. Previously, tank parts were selected randomly. But now the game has a workshop. In it, you can see your tank and its characteristics. And you can also choose the parts you want to use. Of course, if your level is high enough for a particular part.

By the way, the parts have signatures. I tried to make them interesting, but what is, is.

Hello everyone. I decided to take a step back from the content plan and started working on the sounds and music in the game.

The game now has UI sounds and music, as well as their settings.

But that's not the only thing I've done. I've also started polishing the game for release. I've reworked some of the UI a bit to make everything look consistent. I've also started adding hints to help you understand the game.

There's not much left to do before release. I need to finish the hints, polish the AI, improve the server list, and do the translation. T.A.N.k will be available soon.

T.A.N.K is a top-down arcade game about tank battles. The game has three game modes: Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch and base capture. In addition to the game mode, you can customize the lanfasht and match parameters.
In the match, you fight on tanks assembled from different parts (hulls, tracks, guns, turrets). Parts have their own characteristics and features. Which allows you to create both death machines and funny tanks. The AI tank can be changed at your discretion.
The game and the tank can be fully controlled from the keyboard.
