I've been playing the game for a while now, following a corruption route and trying to enjoy everything it has to offer. But, man... The way the main character starts to corrupt and become an insufferable person made me really uncomfortable. I think that shows just how well the game is made and how immersive it can be. But honestly, I literally can't continue the game. I'm feeling sick to my stomach with every sentence that comes out of the main character's mouth. I'm only halfway through, and I'm only starting to damage my relationship with the boyfriend, and I don't think I can go on. Seeing Aura become just another NPC, like the other characters, is agonizing (that's my interpretation of Richard's point of view). Thanks for the great experience, but I think I'm going to drop it because I'm too weak to handle it.

Well, you could try to win the game and defeat antagonist without getting so much mental changes. It's also very interesting

We are defined by the foes we overcome.
The greater the foe, the greater the glory.
Or if we can't beat them, join them;)

I very much second this. I've not reached the point where it makes me so sick I don't want to play the game anymore, but watching her mental state deteriorate into the very thing she critiques makes me so unbelievably uncomfortable, it's incredible. It's a testament to the incredible character writing, because if I didn't give a damn about the characters, this wouldn't matter, I'd just get frustrated that it's in the way of my lewds. But it's GOOD. Really good, in fact. This kind of stuff would usually get my rocks off, but here I am being faced with the real moral reality of my kink. It's brilliant.

You can always do the purity route where you try to make it through the game with 0 lewdness and minimal corruption.  It's a nice challenge to make it through without the bonuses of doing lewd acts, so in some aspects it's a little more difficult, and Aura gets to stay her nice, perfect self.  I hope they add more content specifically for this route, like what I suggested in my post last month, but I had a great time playing the game like this, and I think you will too.

Dude. Just play purity route! That's what I've done since the very beginning. It has been very very satisfying beating these demon generals and how often they act so surprised that I'm still Pure and didn't need to use the Star Knightess on them to kill them.
