Usually this combination of Star Knightess solves the problem:

  • Protecting yourself
    • Protection of the Pig (Increase your DEF and MDEF)
    • Cry of the Rooster (Decrease enemy's ATK)
  • Preparations for final strike
    • Bark Of The Dog (Decrease enemy's DEF)
    • Power Of The Horse (Increase your ATK)
    • Step Of The Rat (5 Normal Attacks instead of 1)
  • Finishing him
    • Bite Of The Snake (Getting Tactical Advantage)
    • Attack

After 5 Crytical buffed-up Attacks against enemy lowered Defense usually it's enough, but you could repeat the last part again. The first part will drastically reduce damage from enemy. It's still possible if enemy gets Tactical Advantage but you could Guard on this turn.

Good luck

You can't reduce his popularity around masses in place with no access to masses. Popularity only increases and decreases as a result of choices in quests of Verdaux, not any other way. Maybe someone will give a hint on how to beat him with such popularity

Well, the corruption theme is how I found this game. I usually don't play such rpg games and even when I play the story usually could be done without rpg mechanics. There I liked the mechanics of corruption and slow conditioned degradation. Little later I started to value how you could defeat enemies without resorting to corrupt choices if you plan for it. And bit by bit I lost interest in corruption of Aura. I understood it when I started to look at new scenes after update and skipped all of it. Now I want to beat the game on my terms.

I am not sure that would be the same for you but I think our initial impressions on the game were the same

Maybe you really didn't see such suggestions on itch.io, I am not usually looking at the forums here so I will take your word. But I am a member of discord group and there were a lot suggestions on balance and other non-lewd elements. Some were implemented, some not.

About paying for the game you loved - That's the risk with games in development. You can't force developer to add elements of what you like. Until it's finished there would be changes. I am not sure that if you get the old version of game that you loved without new content it would be enough for you.

I remember positive changes in balance for player. For example the recent change is a change in stats for Mutated Hydrangeas. It was discussed with the developer that for some builds it's much harder to complete quest Sick Workers. He decreased the amount of MP for them and also changed their pattern of attacks. Now they are not spamming almost constantly Mind Pollution.

The game is balanced around experienced gamers and developer - I am not sure. It requires to learn it's mechanics and tricks - yes. But I think it's good. I remember how in my first playthrough I didn't get to Festival even after day 50. And now I am creating strategies to get there with the least RNG on day 19. It's an improvement for me.

And I disagree about having one solution for the boss. Could you give me an example of such boss?

Could you answer me this, dragondeity? Do you really think that all other players like this game for lewds and don't try Purity way of playing? Do you really think that none of subscribers made a non-fetish suggestion to improve the game?

You are very active and I feel a big amount of hatred from you. I don't know why this game causes such emotions from you, but in any case I want to hear your opinion on my questions

Well, you could side with Aura, defeat the villain without being transformed into something evil. It's interesting in itself and very different from usual corruption games or even the way of corruption in this game.

I think when you will beat the game without resorting to corruption ways it would be an achievement that will make you proud

Well, it's not totally pointless. There would be a quest in chapter 2 where the knowledge of this book would be useful.

Well I have another strategy on Normal playthrough. The main difference is that I'm trying to get rid of Mammon first, so Charlotte uses Heat Up, John protects with counterattacking and Aura with Paul use Pierce against Mammon. First 4 rounds are usually the same strategy, after that I need to react to situation. In total it could cost me 700 Perica for three fights. There is more to strategy but that's it for this post

You'll need to search around for secret passage. Blackjack in the domain of greedy demon worschipper isn't fair, but it's possible to reverse this unfairness.
