The Space Hell mini-game.

Run-Over.

The People is a 2D black-n'-white collection of retro mini-games inspired by classics from Atari and other 80s consoles. If you don't know what to do in a mini-game. the mini-game selector has instructions of everything on the mini-games. The objective? Get the highest scores possible!

Well, the game is not 100% black-n'-white, I made a clever-ish move for the style, nearly everything is black-n'-white, but what you need to pay attention to, or is important to the game, is discretely colorful, like, that police car, if you get caught by it you lose, you need to know it's the police.

The game will receive new mini-games gradually, the expectation is 20 mini-games by the end of its development.

The People is the greatest game I've made so far, I put a lot of effort into it, and aimed higher than I thought I could program, and, as a beginner dev, I was able to surprisingly SURPASS my programming abilities with this game, I must say, I surprised some people when showing off snippets of gameplay.

As of writing this post, here are some mini-games:

  • Zeus: An endless action arcade game in which you must strike down titans with lightning, preventing them from passing into Greece, and allowing humans to pass.
  • Run-Over: Endless action top-down driver about running over people while being chased by the police with explosives!
  • Space Hell: Asteroids-inspired bullet-hell survival space shooter with multiple power-ups and diverse enemies.
  • Goodminton: Endless sports game inspired by badminton and paddle ball, launch the ball up with a racket and prevent it from falling, over time, your racket becomes smaller and more balls spawn!

That's all, I hope you all enjoy The People as much as I do! And here's a link: https://nightfoxy25-animations.itch.io/the-people

YO THATS FIRE *me wondering what language u used to make that 😯*, and also speaking of collections, I made some pirate themed artwork:  ONLY 9 LIMITED OFFER BONUS ART LEF - https://kage11.itch.io/pirate-themed-art-can-be-used-in-games

Not sure if you actually paid attention to what I said, or you're just advertising.

But, I used Construct 3, pretty useful for beginners like me! As for the art you made, I normally prefer to make my own artwork, I like the handrawn feeling I get from them. Plus, I don't really buy stuff in Itch, sorry!

Its alright but tbh Construct 3 is a favorite of mine in terms of game engines, I'm new to this aswell
