Is there a way to disable the snow snowing through the base without actually disabling the snow effect itself? Or is this just how the game engine is and there's nothing that can be done about it?

It's most likely a quirk of the TEST build, I'm confident the dev will fix it in the "stable" release of 0.8.2

Yeah definitely, I understand it's a test build so I'm just wondering if other people have it as well and if they know how to fix it.
