You can access the game with Itch app, which works exactly like Steam app.

Just download it, install the app, then log in. It works fine.

The next major version is 0.10.x, just keep in mind that the game is considered finished by virtue of the main story being totally done. namely escaping noer island. And anything further is extra content like side quests that aren't required to meet this finished game state.
