[Playtest] Prototype of an Adventure Puzzle Game with a Robot in a Post-Apocalyptic World – Looking for Feedback!

Hi everyone! 👋

I’ve just uploaded a prototype of my indie game on https://kindmoba.itch.io/robot?secret=Z8YPXofQLLGgGeuSX0oUHSsWg (link to the game), and I’d love to hear your feedback to make it even better. 🎮

What is this game about? It’s an adventure puzzle game set in a stylized post-apocalyptic world. You play as a quirky robot exploring the ruins of ancient civilizations, solving puzzles, and sometimes doing it in hilariously unexpected ways.

How to try it? 👉 The game runs directly in your browser, so no need to download anything. 👉 It works on mobile too, but the controls haven’t been fully optimized for touch screens yet, so there might be minor issues.

What feedback am I looking for?

  1. Is the interface and control scheme intuitive?
  2. Are the mechanics engaging? What did you like or find confusing?
  3. Any ideas or suggestions for improvement?

How to play? Head over to the Itch.io page: https://kindmoba.itch.io/robot?secret=Z8YPXofQLLGgGeuSX0oUHSsWg You can leave a comment there or reply here with your thoughts.

Thank you so much for your time and feedback! Every opinion matters and helps shape the game’s future. 🚀

Just played this game and got to the end. I think it's fun and quite polished! Robot is cute haha

1. Interface is good, but sometimes its hard to read when talking to the robot . For controls it took a bit for me to get used to, but since it's a point and click it was quite functional and easy to pick up. However I wasn't sure what the hand button on the bottom middle of the screen was doing.

2.I liked the mechanics of moving around and interacting with stuff. it felt like it could develop into a more fuller story or game as time goes on. I think in general maybe due to the design of the level, but it was also intuitive of where to go and what to do.

3. Ideas I have:
a. Maybe having some more story or reason why you are there. Maybe you are looking for your creator, or you are trying to escape a facility.

b. More BGM

c. More things to interact with in the game and reward player for doing it. Maybe quippy dialogue, or some pickups useful for later. Like a treasure hunt of sorts. Looking for notes, or special cogs to repair a machine, for example.

Hope this helps! And good work thus far!
