Project Overview: "Survival on an Island" is a prototype version of a survival game where the main character finds themselves stranded on an unfamiliar island. The available resources are minimal—one oak tree, stones, iron ore, and a berry bush. The player must use these resources wisely to survive and find a way to escape. However, they won’t be alone—a relentless shark patrols the waters, making escape impossible without proper transportation.
Who We're Looking For: We're seeking a volunteer Unity 3D developer to join our project. This is an unpaid opportunity, perfect for someone looking to gain experience in game development, expand their portfolio, or simply collaborate on an exciting survival game.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Unity 3D (C#)
- Experience with game mechanics programming (inventory, crafting, survival mechanics, AI behavior)
What You’ll Work On:
- Implementing core survival mechanics (crafting, gathering, building)
- Enhancing AI for the shark to create a dynamic threat
- Optimization and debugging
