So, I want to replicate the same effect of the Sonic Advance 2 intro where the camera is seemingly going forward, and it gives the impression of the waves speeding up towards the camera, but I seemingly cannot find a good way to achieve this, because even when making so the canvas repeats itself on both axes, moving the sprite itself doesn't wield the desired result. Is there any way to move the texture itself while keeping the canvas in the same place? How can I achieve the desired result?
