Hello! I made pixel video games on the coding website Scratch for three years, and last year I found a way to port games to this website by converting the projects to HTML files! But now, I made a breakthrough discovery as I only make 2D games…for now…
Greetings! I was looking at this project here,
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/148361799
And then I came up with an idea and remixed it into this.
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1138473160/
Now, all I need for tracks is for someone to make 2D sprites of the ground that function like the ones in this game here.
I can animate the racers and karts, but tracks could be a bit tricky for me. What I would like is road parts that look 3D like the ground in the Master System project, and they should be blank so I can duplicate and customize parts for different tracks. Just think, with your help, I can make my very own kart racing game! So let me know if you want to design track parts! However, there will be no money or payment made by you or me from this project. Alongside you, I will have users of the website Scratch do voice work, so it would not be fair to make money while they don’t. Thus I won’t be making money off of the games either. These games will be non-profit and everyone will be part of a fun game experience. Also, I want the parts to be PNG files and pixel so that I can duplicate and color different parts for different tracks. Let me know if you are interested, and feel free to message me here for example sprites for you to change!
