Has anyone beaten this? I've tried all possible wheel combinations for the cave and nothing will turn on the water heater (what I'm assuming it is).

I can see another room beneath the elevator, but nothing will turn anything on, all I can do is turn wheels. I've tried every single possible combination of wheels, including involving the big wheel by the water tank. None of the 24 possible combinations makes anything happen. Other than that all I can do is walk around on the huge map outside for no reason. What gives?

I think you missed a tiny rectangular switch on the base of the boiler itself (sorry if that was too obscured)

Nope! I pressed that button after every single combination of the 3 wheels, and also twice with both positions of the big wheel for each combination of the 3 smaller ones. Nothing ever happened.

there's a piece of paper outside the cave that hints at the proper wheel setup.

On the other hand, this could be a "Only Windows Version Works" issue.
