TumbleSeed

TumbleSeed is a deceptively deep roguelike about balancing a seed up a dangerous and ever-changing mountain. · By aeiowu, dlask, benedictfritz

What's your favorite seed type?

Let's hear it!

Mine? Teleseed. Mobility, damage, and a high skill ceiling. Sign me up!

This is...hard to pick out one fav. I think Reflect Seed might be my favorite- Takes the stress off of projectiles and encourages baiting enemies >:)

I think it is mine too.

The winter area seems almost impossible without it.

I haven't landed a telefrag yet, but I sure did burn a lot of crystals trying to - Teleseed is my favorite I've seen.

Claymore was fun for a hot second until I died horribly and swiftly. Looks like checkpoints got a little more important since the last time I played!

That multiple-fall-damage life!

*banging on the table* RED HOT ROCK! RED HOT ROCK! RED HOT ROCK

It is pretty great.

Loving the Shield since I can take a few hits. And once I found a wild Pistol seed spawned that thing easily killed three enemies on screen

This isn't a favorite, but: if I see that a seed can damage me, I pretty much avoid it every time. Once I laid down a homing seed without getting out of the way immediately, and it immediately spawned a missile and killed me, so now I kinda grumble "ugh never again" and go with a seed that can't hurt me.

I feel you – it takes a certain confidence/recklessness before you're willing to play with fire. But, hopefully the rewards of engaging that risk make it worthwhile. Curious if you'll still feel like this in a week or two :)

It's hard to pick a fav, but I think it would be the Vertical Laser seed.

It splits the area with an "invisible wall" into two sections with the plot acting as a bridge between them. Not always the most useful, but it's fun and it costs nothing so if things don't work out (and you don't hit yourself in the face) no biggie.

Wow I love to see it! It's been a seed type we've been changing forever because we were never super happy with it so I love to see that it's your favorite!

I don't mean to be the boring guy here but if I don't say it someone else will.

The crystal seed.

Without this baby, I can't start my economy and I can't become the very best pokemon master.

I'm kinda falling in love with flytrap. Not as much as reflect (clearly the most useful in the game) but flytrap is now a must buy at stores. Cheap. Super useful.
